New York sets ambitious HFC phase-down goals / Workshop prepares supermarket industry for upcoming regulation
New York State joins a growing number of states looking to fill the void of the federally vacated EPA SNAP rules. A conference has been set for September 27th, to engage stakeholders early in the regulatory process, and bring all parties to the table to prepare for future refrigerant regulations.
"In addition to potential greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions from the use of low-GWP refrigerants, there is an equally significant opportunity to simultaneously reduce emissions and energy demand by optimizing refrigeration technologies for energy efficiency. "
